Dr. Shoib Myint

Dr. Shoib Myint practices as an oculo facial plastic surgeon at the Las Vegas office and holds board certification in oculo facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. He trained in that specialty through a fellowship at Providence Hospital and Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, under Dr. Frank A. Nesi. He has practiced for more than two decades and has performed more than 15,000 surgeries. His education started with undergraduate study at Stetson University in DeLand, Florida, followed by study at Columbia University in New York City. He received his medical degree from Nova University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Miami, then completed an internship at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan, an ophthalmology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, and a neuro-ophthalmology fellowship at Michigan State University in Lansing. His practice centers on facelifts, neck lifts and eyelid surgery for cosmetic, medical and reconstructive reasons, including revision eyelid procedures after an earlier blepharoplasty. The conditions he treats include eyelid droop, under-eye bags, excess eyelid skin, eyelid trauma, sagging brows, forehead tissue laxity, blocked tear ducts, thyroid disease, eyelid malposition, eyelid tumors and thyroid eye disease. He is a former president of the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, holds Fellow status with the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology, and belongs to the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Medical Association and the American Osteopathic Association. He has co-authored and authored five textbooks, among them Nonsurgical Peri-orbital Rejuvenation, and has published peer-reviewed articles and textbook chapters.
