Dr. Shiva Lalezar

Dr. Shiva Lalezar is a functional medicine physician and the founder and medical director of Health & Vitality Center, which she established in 2009. She holds a D.O. degree and has more than 20 years of clinical practice. She began in urgent care and family medicine at Kaiser Permanente from 2002 to 2005, then spent 2005 to 2008 as one of six physicians treating complex chronic diseases at Whitaker Wellness Institute. Her work spans chelation and detoxification for heavy metal burden, hormone optimization with bioidentical hormone replacement, intravenous nutrient protocols built on glutathione and vitamin C, metabolic reset and weight management, immune support, inflammatory conditions, and peptide and regenerative treatments. She has been using chelation for more than 20 years and sees people dealing with the long-term effects of occupational exposure, including firefighters, police officers, tradespeople and others.
