Dr. Sherly Soleiman, MD

Dr. Sherly Soleiman, MD, founded Cosmetic Injectables Center Medspa and owns and directs the practice, working full time on site in Sherman Oaks, where she oversees treatment protocols, provider training and patient care standards. She began practicing medical aesthetics in 2009, after more than 25 years in medicine. Those years include per diem urgent care work at Kaiser Permanente in Anaheim and Panorama City from 2001 to 2022. She now treats patients at the Sherman Oaks location and personally trains the licensed providers who carry out treatments at the medspa.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology at California State University, Northridge, then a Doctor of Medicine at Loma Linda University School of Medicine, followed by a family medicine residency at the University of California, Irvine. She is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine, first certified in 2002 and recertified in 2009, and holds an active California physician license along with medical licenses in Nevada, Florida and Texas. Her injection training includes one-on-one instruction in the MD Codes method from Dr. Mauricio de Maio, completion of the MD Codes preceptorship, and her listing as one of eight MD Codes Faculty Trainers recognized by Allergan Medical Institute. She has also completed ultrasound training for filler and other aesthetic procedures, a patient safety and advocacy program from Allergan Medical Institute, and a Good Clinical Practice certificate from the NIDA Clinical Trials Network.

Her practice centers on dermal fillers, neurotoxin injections, biostimulators, filler correction and wrinkle relaxer dosing. She is a National Lead Faculty member for Allergan Aesthetics, selected from a national faculty of about 500 clinicians, and an Allergan Medical Institute faculty trainer and medical facial aesthetic trainer in California. She teaches injection technique to physicians, plastic surgeons, dermatologists and nurses, and teaches four to five training sessions a week. She also runs regular injectable training for the practice's Nurse Master Injectors and has been invited to present teaching sessions at other medspas. As a National Speaker and Trainer, she has served on advisory boards for Allergan, Galderma, Evolus, Revance, Cosmofrance, SpaKinect and CareCredit, and as principal investigator and researcher in clinical trials for nonsurgical aesthetic procedures.

She has been a trusted provider for high-profile patients and media personalities in Los Angeles, and treats celebrity clients in Sherman Oaks. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Physicians and the California Medical Association, and serves on the Physician Advisory Board of Face Forward International, a nonprofit providing pro bono reconstructive surgery for survivors of violence.
