Dr. Shazia Sami

Shazia Sami, MD, started NY Laser MD and serves as its medical director. She is a board-certified physician who has practiced medicine since 2006. She set up the medical spa to concentrate on non-surgical cosmetic treatments. Her residency was completed at Southside Hospital and North Shore-LIJ. She has worked at urgent care centers and at South Nassau Communities Hospital. She is affiliated with Jamaica Hospital and Queens Hospital Medical Center, and she is a member of the AAFP and APPNA. Her clinical work centers on women's health, weight loss and skin treatments, and she sees women, men, young children and teens.
