Dr. Shannon Maltais

Dr. Shannon Maltais leads Physician Skin Solutions as medical director and owner, and she founded the practice. She brings more than 16 years of experience, including over 13 years of daily injection work. She is an advanced master injector of neurotoxins and dermal fillers. She has been awarded Allergan's Black Diamond status, placing her in the top 1 percent of Botox providers in the country, and she is the number one Juvederm provider in Arizona. She has also been recently named to Laser Hair Removal lists. Her education began with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Microbiology, chemistry and pre-medical studies from Northern Arizona University. She later earned a naturopathic medical doctorate from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon. She completed a general practice residency at Southwest Naturopathic Medical Center in Tempe, Arizona, with added focused training in minor surgery and general dermatology. She has served as a clinical instructor in minor surgery and IV therapy and is a founding board member of the Naturopathic Physicians Board of Aesthetic Medicine. Her memberships include the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. Her work covers injectable solutions, laser and light therapies, cosmetic and anti-aging medicine, minor surgery and topical skincare. She favours newer laser tools and often pairs injections with PDO threads and skincare to tackle facial aging.
