Dr. Shamita Trivedi, D.O.

Dr. Shamita Trivedi is an endocrinologist and the medical director of the practice. She specializes in endocrinology and comprehensive hormone management and has a commitment to women's health. Her clinical background includes pediatric endocrinology: she was a full-time physician and Assistant Professor at Children's Medical Center from 2014, and a clinical subspecialist at Pediatric Endocrinology of North Texas from November 2018 until the end of 2023.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Texas at Dallas, graduating cum laude, and a Doctor of Osteopathy from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth. She completed a residency in general pediatrics at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago, where she received the Resident of the Year Teaching Award in June 2011, and a fellowship in endocrinology at Children's Medical Center, UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. She also completed RYT-200 yoga teacher training while working as a full-time physician.
