Dr. Selena Fu

Dr. Selena Fu is the owner and medical director of the practice and is a physician and oculoplastic surgeon. She performs upper blepharoplasty, with techniques chosen for each patient, and specializes in surgical and non-surgical eyelid rejuvenation. Her offerings include blepharoplasty, eyelid lift, under-eye bag removal, eyebrow lift, Botox, Juvederm fillers and cosmetic facial rejuvenation. She repairs droopy eyelids, removes eyelid tumors, fixes orbital fractures and operates on the lacrimal and tear ducts. She earned a medical degree from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, studied biology at the University of California, Irvine, and graduated magna cum laude. Her training also includes an internship at UCLA Olive View Medical Center, an ophthalmology residency at Baylor College of Medicine and an advanced fellowship in oculoplastic surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. She has published in scientific journals, presented at national ophthalmology meetings and teaches cosmetic surgery and ophthalmology techniques through hands-on instruction and lectures abroad. She practiced in Ohio and California for years before moving to the Kansas area in 2015. In 2023 she received the Asian American Chamber of Commerce Kansas City Professional Leader of the Year award, and she presented that award at the chamber's gala in 2024 and 2025. She tailors care to each case, aiming for the best result possible while protecting vision.
