Dr. Sarah Yagerman

Dr. Sarah Yagerman is double board-certified, in dermatology and in Mohs micrographic surgery. Her practice spans medical, cosmetic and surgical dermatology in New York City, with a particular focus on dermatologic oncology. Lasers are used for photoaging, resurfacing, acne and redness. She has extensive training with injectable fillers such as JUVÉDERM, Restylane, Radiesse and Sculptra, and with neuromodulators for relaxing wrinkles. She has returned to NYU faculty and is Director of Dermatologic Surgery at Woodhull Hospital, where she teaches residents. The practice says she started the first Mohs surgery department in the NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation. She has more than 20 peer-reviewed publications in cosmetic and dermatologic surgery. She studied at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, then earned her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College, graduating with Honors in Service. Her training also includes a year of dermatologic oncology research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, an internal medicine internship year at NYU Langone Health, and a three-year dermatology residency at NYU's Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology, where she was chief resident in the final year.
