About
Dr. Sarah Derrington holds board certification in dermatology, with work spanning general, surgical and cosmetic care. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She operates her own practice, Derrington Dermatology, and also serves as an attending physician at the Ralph H. Johnson Veterans Association Hospital, where she teaches surgery to dermatology residents at MUSC.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Brevard College in North Carolina, graduating summa cum laude, and holds a medical doctorate from the Medical University of South Carolina. Her internal medicine internship was at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Texas, followed by a dermatology residency at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra-Northwell in New York.
She was voted Charleston's Choice Best Dermatologist for the past three years.
