Dr. Samir Hasan

Dr. Samir Hasan is a board-certified plastic surgeon at BeautyBlade Plastic Surgery in Denver, and he holds a diplomate from the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He works across the face, breast and body, with his largest focus on whole-body work such as liposuction and Brazilian buttock lifts. On the face he performs facelifts and rhinoplasty, and he also performs brow lifts, skin removal procedures, and biostimulator and regenerative treatments.

His training began at the University of Texas School of Medicine, which he attended from 2010 to 2014. He then spent 2014 to 2020 in a six-year integrated plastic surgery residency in St. Louis. That program included hand surgery, reconstructive work on the skull, face and jaws, breast reconstruction, nerve surgery, limb salvage, and non-surgical facial rejuvenation. From 2020 to 2021 he completed an aesthetic fellowship in Manhattan and Long Island, New York, a program that the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons accredits as one of 23 cosmetic surgery training programs in the country.

During residency he performed more than 2,000 procedures, and he performed more than 1,500 during fellowship. His case mix includes breast enhancement, breast reshaping and reduction, mommy makeovers, Brazilian-style buttock lifts, nose reshaping, facelifts and high-definition liposuction. He served as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Surgery at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, and has published research on breast implant safety in peer-reviewed national plastic surgery journals. He also writes regularly for 9News Denver on beauty and wellness trends.

He aims for results that are dramatic yet still natural-looking, and he believes plastic surgery can support mental wellness through improved body image.
