Dr. Rosannah Velasquez

Dr. Rosannah Velasquez is a dermatologist with an MD at AVIVA Dermatology in Houston, Texas. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas-Pan American, graduating summa cum laude, and then earned her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine on a full academic scholarship through the UTPA/BCM Premedical Honors College. Her internship in internal medicine was at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington. She trained in anesthesiology at Baylor College of Medicine and changed course to dermatology during the final year of that training, completing her dermatology residency at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia before returning to Houston. Her practice covers general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She is fluent in Spanish and hopes to offer approachable, relatable skincare to the Hispanic community.
