About
Dr. Nelson serves as collaborative physician and medical director for the practice. He completed medical school at Vanderbilt in 1990 and then served in the United States Air Force, including work as a flight surgeon with an F-15 squadron at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Alaska and at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. He completed an internship at Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi and then trained in aerospace medicine.
He began dermatology residency training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 1999 and later founded Stones River Dermatology in 2010.
