Dr. Ron Stephens

Dr. Ron Stephens serves as Medical Director at A Defined Image, overseeing all procedures, and works as a surgeon and hyperbaric physician. He holds MD and FACS credentials along with CWS.

His earlier career includes serving as Chief of Surgical Services at Crawford Long Hospital of Emory University from 1986 to 2001, and as its Chief of Staff in 1994. He was also Chief of Surgery at Advanced Surgery Center of Georgia from 1998 to 2001, Clinical Instructor at Emory University School of Medicine from 1979 to 2001, and Associate Professor of Surgery at the Medical College of Georgia. From 1970 to 1994 he was the personal physician to Evander Holyfield.

He is certified in Primary Training Hyperbaric Medicine, Advanced Burn Life Support and Advanced Wilderness Life Support. At the clinic he also provides oversight for the semaglutide weight loss program alongside Barbara McClure.
