Dr. Rolando Alvarez, MD, MS

Dr. Rolando Alvarez practices at PharmXHealthOne, where he directs the practice's medical programs, clinical standards and governance. He builds clinical protocols, quality standards and quality assurance systems, and he advises on compliance, trains providers and supports the clinical team. Based in Boynton Beach, Florida, he holds medical licenses in Florida, Michigan, Georgia and Arizona. He started with premedical studies at the University of Miami, earning a Bachelor of Science in biology with a chemistry minor, then earned a Master of Science in biomedical sciences at Barry University and a medical degree from St. George's University. He completed a two-year internal medicine residency at Maricopa Medical Center and Marshfield Clinic, then a nuclear medicine fellowship at the University of Michigan, and he is board certified by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine. Earlier he practiced as a nuclear medicine physician at the Veterans Administration in Gainesville, Florida. Since then he has worked with several age management clinics as a physician and medical director. He trained in age management medicine at the Cenegenics Medical Institute, where he stayed on as a fellow, and he holds certifications from the Age Management Medicine Education Foundation and the Age Management Medicine Group. His clinical focus includes medical weight loss, GLP-1 and peptide therapies, advanced metabolic and hormone testing, bioidentical hormone optimization and preventive longevity medicine. Areas of expertise are bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, nutraceuticals and nutrition.
