About
Dr. Robert Setari is a physician at LA Medical Cosmetic, where he leads treatments in phlebology, the medical field concerned with veins and venous disease. He is a nationally recognized leader in the specialty. He holds an AB from the University of Pennsylvania, graduated cum laude, earned his medical degree at The George Washington University School of Medicine, and completed his clinical training at Washington Hospital Center. He co-wrote the textbook Vein Diagnosis and Treatment, has had work published in several medical journals, and has presented lectures to medical societies. From 1996 to 1998, he was a member of the Education Committee of the American College of Phlebology. He serves on the board of trustees of the California Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons and teaches as a faculty member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons. He designed the Setari Lift and NuSpot, both combination protocols that each draw on more than one method.
