About

Dr. Robert 'Bo' Brobst, known to patients as Dr. Bo, runs the practice he founded and operates as its surgeon, heading a group of medical providers and aesthetic specialists. He practices facial plastic surgery with a focus on cosmetic and reconstructive work on the face and neck, and he holds dual board certification in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery and facial plastic surgery. His training began with undergraduate studies at Texas Christian University, followed by Texas Tech School of Medicine, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha and finished first in his class. A five-year otolaryngology-head and neck surgery residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago Eye and Ear Infirmary followed, with training under Dr. J. Reagan Thomas and Dr. Dean Toriumi. During that residency he treated complex facial injuries at a Level I trauma center in Chicago. He then completed a facial plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship under Dr. Stephen Perkins, building a private practice during that time. He scored in the 100th percentile on the fellowship written exam. His caseload centers on advanced facelifts, with each plan fitted to the patient's facial structure and goals, and on primary and revision rhinoplasty that addresses both appearance and nasal function. At the practice he also offers neck lifts, brow lifts, eyelid surgery, skin resurfacing and Botox injections. He travels to train with well-regarded aesthetic surgeons and returns with newer techniques and equipment for the Dallas-Fort Worth area. He holds positions on several committees with the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and has published several journal articles and book chapters. He has volunteered to teach facial plastic surgery skills to residents at Indiana University School of Medicine, and he has provided pro bono reconstructive surgery for the Face to Face domestic violence program.
