About

Dr. Lee is a board-certified plastic surgeon in Newport Beach with more than 15 years of cosmetic surgery experience. His main focus is facial cosmetic work such as facelifts, brow lifts and eyelid surgery, and he also performs breast and body contouring procedures, including breast augmentation, breast lifts, tummy tucks and liposuction. He set up his Newport Beach practice after finishing his residency at Johns Hopkins. He earned a B.A. with highest honors in molecular and cell biology from UC Berkeley in 1992, where he also received a Dean's List honor. He then earned his M.D. from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1996, graduating in the top quartile of his class. He completed a seven-year plastic surgery residency and a plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital. His research on facial injuries has been published and presented at professional meetings, and he received the Henry Strong Dennison Research Award from Johns Hopkins. He is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, certified in Advanced Trauma Life Support, and holds a Physician and Surgeon license from the Medical Board of California. He has hospital privileges at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian, Newport Beach Surgery Center, Irvine Regional Hospital and Medical Center, and Huntington Beach Hospital. He sees patients from Newport Beach, Irvine, Santa Ana and across Orange County and Los Angeles. A first consultation covers goals, physical characteristics, concerns and all treatment options, and he provides follow-up care after surgery and for later treatment.
