Dr. Reza Rod

Dr. Reza Rod is a board-certified plastic surgeon in Phoenix who founded Dermacare Plastic Surgery and runs its on-site surgery center. He holds a biochemistry degree from Washington University in St. Louis, finished in 1996 with Magna Cum Laude honors and a German minor. Medical school at the University of Wisconsin, Madison ended in 2001, and he then spent five years in a general and vascular/trauma surgical residency at the Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency Program. A plastic surgery fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota followed, completed in 2008. He has held certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery since 2009 and also holds American Board of Surgery certification. He is a Cosmetic Injection Specialist and belongs to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. In July 2008, after moving back to Arizona, he opened a private practice in Phoenix, where breast augmentation is a main focus. His training covers enhancing natural beauty with both surgical and non-surgical methods. He has served as a clinical instructor in the Division of Plastic and Hand Surgery for the Maricopa Integrated Health System's surgical residency, and he has taught a course that prepares plastic surgeons for the oral board exam.
