About

Dr. Remus Repta founded Repta Plastic Surgery and is a board-certified plastic surgeon who has practiced for nearly two decades and maintains a practice in Scottsdale. He graduated with high honors from Portland State University in psychology and biology and received the Laurel Merit Scholarship at Oregon Health Sciences University. He completed a plastic surgery residency at Michigan State University, training under Dr. Dennis Hammond, followed by two cosmetic plastic surgery fellowships with Dr. Joseph Hunstad and Dr. Grant Stevens. During the fellowship with Dr. Hunstad he co-authored The Atlas of Abdominoplasty, a plastic surgery textbook.

He performs rhinoplasty, facelift, body contouring, breast and eyelid procedures, and injectables including BOTOX and dermal fillers. He performs traditional, mini and reverse tummy tucks as well as Brazilian butt lifts using fat transfer to the buttocks. He is credited with helping introduce the Purse-String Gluteoplasty and the Bra Line Back Lift. He has published textbook chapters and journal articles, including in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and lectures internationally on topics including the mommy makeover. He is a member of The American Society of Plastic Surgeons and The International Society of Plastic Surgeons, and he has received national and international recognition for research, publications and teaching. His work has been featured in People, Good Housekeeping, Cosmopolitan, Fox News, CBS and local news.

Patients travel from across the globe to see him for complex procedures. His surgery is performed at Central Scottsdale Surgery Center.
