About
Dr. Ram Chandra, MD is the cosmetic and laser physician, medical director and laser safety officer at Anara. With more than 35 years in clinical medicine and over 18 in laser and aesthetic medicine, he has performed more than 60,000 laser procedures across all skin types. He holds Diplomate status from the American Board of Laser Surgery and a Certificate of the Board in Fundamental Laser Science and Laser Safety. His board certification in cosmetic laser surgery is paired with a Certificate of Added Qualification in that field, held by only 38 practitioners worldwide. He is also a Certified Aesthetic Consultant through The Aesthetic Practice Association of America. His training covers medical-grade chemical peels, medical microdermabrasion, Botox and Dysport, PRP in aesthetics, mesotherapy, PDO thread lifts, laser skin resurfacing, RF microneedling, laser tattoo removal, and PRP for male and female rejuvenation. Dr. Jeffrey Rappaport trained him in PRP hair rejuvenation, and Dr. James Avellini in aesthetic medicine. He took PRP training for aesthetic and sexual enhancement at the Cellular Medicine Association under Dr. Charles Runels, MD. Dr. Enrico Guarino personally taught him the cosmetic use of PDO threads, and he has attended human cadaver dissection courses to refine injection anatomy. He personally performs Botox and laser hair removal, and also performs PRP labia rejuvenation and integrative hand rejuvenation.
