Dr. Rafael Nuñez, MD, is Medical Director of Soma Medical Center, P.A., which he founded in 2000 after working at several medical centers in New York, New Jersey and Florida. Earlier, he practiced medicine in Colombia, including as a surgeon.
He received his medical degree from the National University of Colombia in 1978. During the 1990s he completed a residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at New York Medical College, based at the Metropolitan Hospital Center in Manhattan. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and licensed to practice medicine in Florida.
