Dr. Peters

Lisa J. Peters, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon who leads Plastic Surgery Of Chicago in Forest Park. She brings more than 20 years of surgical experience. She spent 11 years at Vanderbilt Hospital before returning to the Chicago area to practice. She holds staff privileges at Rush Oak Park Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital, and her work was highlighted in the West Suburban Hospital Women in Medicine series. The practice describes her as a prominent female plastic surgeon in Chicago. Her training began at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she earned an undergraduate degree with Honors in Biology. She then attended Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, earning her M.D. in 1995, and completed general surgery and plastic surgery residencies there. She is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and belongs to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Her specialties are mommy makeovers, tummy tucks, breast surgery and body contouring, including breast augmentation, breast reduction and breast lift (mastopexy). She operates at Midwest Center for Day Surgery in Downers Grove and at the Forest Park surgical suite, performing surgery on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
