Dr. Paul Fondacaro

Paul Fondacaro, MD, works as a physician at Dr. Park Avenue, where his practice covers cosmetic surgery and cosmetic services. His focus is cosmetic injections and facial rejuvenation, and he has lectured nationally on both. He has limited his practice to cosmetic surgery since 2007, after adding cosmetic services in 2003. He earned his MD at New York University School of Medicine in 1981. He completed a surgery internship and residency at SUNY Downstate in 1986, and was chief resident there from 1985 to 1988. Earlier he worked as an attending surgeon at Long Island College Hospital, then moved to Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan, where he was Assistant Director of Surgery. He has also held faculty posts as an Assistant Professor of Surgery, first at New York Medical College and later at Cornell Medical College. At Dr. Park Avenue he began offering SmartLipo right after its FDA approval, and he serves as a preceptor and trainer for Cynosure Laser Company.
