Dr. Paul F. Fortes

Dr. Paul F. Fortes is a plastic surgeon and partner at The Aesthetic Center for Plastic Surgery in Houston, with board certification in plastic surgery and general surgery from the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. Texas Monthly named him a 2024 Texas Super Doctor, the eleventh consecutive year he has received that recognition, and the practice lists him among its Top Doctors in Plastic Surgery in Houston. He has hospital privileges at several Houston-area hospitals and surgery centers, including Memorial Hermann and Methodist Hospital Sugarland, and he speaks English and Spanish. He began his education with a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Rice University in Houston, graduating magna cum laude. He then earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston between 1986 and 1990, completed an internship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas in 1990 and 1991, and trained there as a general surgery resident from 1991 to 1995. He went on to a plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at Northwestern Medical Center in Chicago from 1995 to 1998.
