Dr. Patrick Goldsworthy, DC

Patrick Goldsworthy, DC, co-owns and founded Core Medical Center, where he practices chiropractic in Blue Springs, Missouri. Under his involvement the clinic grew into a broader medical practice in which chiropractic, medical, physical therapy and rehabilitation staff collaborate in a single location. He holds a Diplomate in chiropractic orthopedics. Much of his caseload is orthopedic and sports-related musculoskeletal care. He treats neck and back pain, including herniated disc and sciatica, and sports and overuse injuries in athletes from young players up to weekend competitors. He performs orthopedic evaluation of joint, ligament and soft-tissue injuries and provides chiropractic care for spine, joint and soft-tissue problems using adjustment and manual therapy, as well as sports chiropractic for athletes dealing with injury, recovery and performance goals. He examines injured workers and accident patients, writes objective reports, performs independent medical examinations, and supports impairment ratings for injured workers, accident patients and attorneys. Care plans are tailored to each person, with goals of reducing pain, improving movement and getting back to work, sport or daily life. When an injury calls for interventional pain care, he works with Dr. Paul Doskey, the clinic's pain management physician, and collaborates with the physical therapy and rehabilitation teams.
