Dr. Patricia Delgado

Dr. Patricia Delgado, who holds the DNP and works as an APRN nurse practitioner, founded Sunrise Skin & Wellness. She is triple board-certified in adult-gerontology primary care, dermatology and psychiatric-mental health, and is a dermatology-certified nurse practitioner. She also holds a Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Certificate. Her background covers dermatology, primary care, mental health, wellness and aesthetics.

She completed training through Fluence, related to Cybin's clinical development program, and clinical research training through Numinus, in connection with the DEFINIUM study. She is lead faculty for the Florida Atlantic University Dermatology NP Postgraduate Certificate Program. She founded Sunrise NPPA Derm, a nonprofit for nurse practitioners and physician assistants, and continues to lead it. Her clinical research record includes sub-investigator roles with K2 Medical Research on psychiatric and Alzheimer's disease studies, and work as a lead session monitor in psychedelic research. She hosts The Skin & Psych Podcast, produced by Dermatology Times and Psychiatric Times, and speaks to nurse practitioners, physician assistants and dermatology clinicians. Her writing examines where dermatology meets mental health, and her research interests center on psychodermatology.

She leads the practice's weight loss services. She assesses each patient's needs to build Botox and Daxxify treatment plans, then walks patients through aftercare and how to keep results. Patients come to her for skin concerns, aesthetic treatment, weight management, mental health support and general wellness, and she treats skin, body and mood as connected.
