Dr. Parker

Dr. Parker is a board-certified dermatologist at Snyder Dermatology in Austin, where she practices every branch of the specialty: medical, surgical and cosmetic. Her main interest is medical dermatology, and she treats patients of all ages. Patients can book appointments with her online. Several years of practice in Houston came before she joined this practice.

Her training includes medical education at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where she was an Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society member, followed by an internal medicine internship and dermatology residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, part of Washington University. Her faculty put her forward for the Chief Resident role during her final year of training. Her publications appear in several peer-reviewed medical journals, and she has presented cases at scientific meetings. She is a member of the Texas Medical Association, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the Austin Dermatology Society. She was listed as a Super Doctor rising star in 2018, 2019 and 2020.

Day to day she manages common conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, acne and skin lesions, along with more complex rashes. She runs total body skin exams aimed at spotting skin cancer early, removes moles and cysts, and carries out skin cancer excisions. She advocates yearly skin checks for prevention and early detection. Cosmetic services include Botox, Dysport and Xeomin neurotoxin treatments, dermal fillers, and consultations about lasers, chemical peels and resurfacing aimed at tone and texture.
