Dr. Pamela Hill

Dr. Pamela Hill founded Healthy Hair Care Beauty Academy and teaches cosmetology there. She has worked as a cosmetology professional for more than 25 years. Her earlier work includes co-owning Unique Designs Hair Salon, and she opened Fredericksburg Salon and Spa in 2002 and the Healthy Hair Care Hair Loss Center in 2017.

She holds a doctorate in professional cosmetology and completed a post-doctorate in cosmetology at the National Institute of Cosmetology in July 2018. She is a licensed cosmetologist and a licensed cosmetology instructor, and she holds board certification as a trichologist and drugless practitioner along with a separate certification as a trichologist.

Her focus areas include hair systems, non-surgical hair replacement, hair braiding, weaves, short chic styling, Brazilian Blowout and keratin treatment and strengthening therapy, and hair loss and scalp disorders. She has been featured in Xtreme Hair Magazine and other hair publications, and has designed hair and fashion shows. She also serves as Dean of Education with the Virginia State Beautician Association, as president of the Fredericksburg and Vicinity Cosmetology Chapter, and as a member of the National Beauty Cultures League.
