Dr. Nia Johnson

Dr. Nia Johnson is a board-certified physician at Nia Aesthetics, where she also works as a medical esthetician and trains others on Revanesse Versa. She has been board certified in emergency medicine since 2011. She graduated from Temple College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, at the top of her class. Her clinical background includes a residency at Memorial Hermann Hospital, TMC, from 2005 to 2008, and a staff physician role at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital from 2008 to 2018. She was also chief resident in emergency medicine at the University of Texas medical center. She has practiced emergency medicine in the Houston area for more than 10 years. This work gives her working knowledge of facial anatomy, injections and nerve blocks. Her aesthetic training includes private advanced filler training with Erika Barry, advanced Botox and filler training with Allergan Aesthetics and Merz Aesthetics, and advanced filler and Sculptra training with Galderma. She keeps current with medical developments and cosmetic techniques. She evaluates needs and proposes treatment plans for PDO smooth threads and hair restoration. For hair restoration, she reviews medical history and current medications to determine whether a patient is a candidate before treatment. For semaglutide, she is a licensed physician who builds a customized injection plan around each patient's goals.
