Dr. Nawar Al-Obaidi, MD

Nawar Al-Obaidi, MD, started Clinique La Roya and is its medical director. Trained in internal medicine, he earned his medical degree at the University of Baghdad, then completed his internal medicine residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, where he was chief resident. Before launching the clinic, he worked for six years as a research associate at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. The practice pairs medical care with aesthetic and wellness services, aiming to look at each patient as a whole person; he describes its approach as intentional medicine. He oversees the medical assessment for laser hair removal, confirming treatment areas and session count, and evaluates skin and laxity before Density RF to make sure it suits each client. He personally gives every dermal filler treatment and leads all treatments carried out on site. Before any work begins, clients go through a review of their skin, health and history, then receive a plan shaped around what they need, with each step explained before it happens.
