Dr. Nandini Sunkireddy

Dr. Nandini Sunkireddy founded Aspire Medical Group after more than ten years treating patients in the Atlanta area. Working in family medicine and obesity medicine, she sees patients in Atlanta and Cumming, bringing over 11 years of experience in primary care and obesity medicine. Her medical education includes a family medicine residency at Louisiana State University in Monroe, Louisiana, and an MBBS from Adichunchangiri Institute of Medical Sciences in Karnataka, India.

Her board certifications cover family medicine, lifestyle medicine and obesity medicine. She also holds NAMS certification as a menopause practitioner. Her clinical interests include menopause care, PCOS, preventive medicine and lifestyle medicine, and she treats diabetes, obesity, hormonal health, fatigue and other chronic conditions. As the clinic's obesity specialist, she leads its weight management program. Her initial consultation reviews medical history, current lifestyle, previous weight-loss attempts and underlying conditions. She also takes part in planning the practice's laser treatments.

She belongs to the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians (where she sits on the management board), the American Academy of Lifestyle Medicine, the Obesity Medicine Association and the North American Menopause Society. She gives talks at continuing medical education programs, seminars and webinars on lifestyle medicine, obesity management and preventive care. She is co-author of Thriving from Burnout and How Healers Heal.

She was named an Atlanta Magazine Top Doctor for 2024, 2025 and 2026, and a Georgia Trend Top Doctor for 2021 through 2023. She received the TANA Presidential Award in 2023 and the TTA Women in Medicine and Public Service Award in 2024, and was listed among Top Doctors of America in 2023. She takes on patients who want a continuing relationship with a doctor who hears them and designs workable treatment plans.
