Dr. Monica Bonakdar

Monica Bonakdar, MD, started Aesthetix Lab and leads it as Founder and Medical Director. Her field is aesthetic dermatology and aesthetic medicine, and she has spent more than twenty years in aesthetic skin care. Since 2008 she has served as a faculty member for the Allergan Medical Institute. Her undergraduate degree is a B.S. in biological sciences from UC Irvine. She then earned her M.D. at the UC Irvine School of Medicine, graduating cum laude with Phi Beta Kappa honors. Her internship and residency were completed at UCLA, and she trained under Dr. Mauricio de Maio through the MD Codes mentorship program. After her training she opened a private practice in Newport Beach, back in Orange County. Her clinical work covers anti-aging treatments for patients across Orange County and further afield. She leads the GLP weight loss program, drawing on her experience in weight management. She personally administers about 65,000 units of Botox and more than 1,000 syringes of filler each year. Her guiding practice idea, Finite Precision, centers on structure, balance and light.
