Dr. Mona Ascha

Dr. Mona Ascha is a physician and surgeon who provides aesthetic medicine treatments at Splendida. She currently works in the intensive care unit at MetroHealth and has more than ten years of experience, with over 50 papers published in plastic surgery literature.

Her training includes medical school at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine, plastic surgery training at University Hospitals, and a gender-affirmation surgery fellowship at Johns Hopkins. She has experience in gender-affirming care.

At Splendida she focuses on neurotoxin treatments, including for the jawline and for neck and shoulder tension. She pairs surgical expertise with an artistic eye, aiming for natural results, and keeps her practice conservative and grounded in available evidence. Every patient gets time to talk through concerns, options and recommendations before treatment. She works with patients of every age, skin type and background, and welcomes all genders and body types.
