Dr. Mira Mahajan is Medical Director of Golden Glow Medical Spa and a board-certified physician. She has owned and operated the facility and has performed cosmetic procedures since 2009. Earlier, she completed a Bachelor of Medicine in India, where she received the Gold Medal in Medicine, and practiced obstetrics and gynecology in New Delhi before turning to aesthetic work. Her family practice internship at the Bayfront Family Practice Residency Program in St. Petersburg, Florida, centered on dermatology and aesthetic medicine. She holds board certification from the American Board of Family Medicine, belongs to the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. Further training covers Advanced Botox and Dermal Fillers, dermal fillers by blunt cannula, and liposuction under tumescent anesthesia. She trained in liposuction with Dr. Marco Pelosi in New Jersey and in plastic surgery with Dr. Pozner. She is listed as a trainer for ThermiTight and Silhouette Instalift, and she gives Juvederm injections at the practice. She was the first in the Tampa Bay Area to perform cannula injection, PDO thread lift and RF-Liposuction. She has been featured on various news channels. Her approach focuses on results that look attractive and natural, and she serves as Privacy Officer for the practice.
