Dr. Michael Elder

Dr. Michael Elder is the founder, owner and medical director of Advanced Aesthetics. He is board-certified and nationally recognized. He started practicing venous sclerotherapy in 1995, after meeting anesthesiologists who were already offering the treatment, and he brought the first ruby laser for hair removal to Oklahoma City. He earned honors at the University of Denver, where he was a Phi Beta Kappa member, and trained at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, completing a residency in anesthesiology. He belongs to the Obesity Medicine Association and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. He is listed on the laser treatments page as part of the team that helps clients select the right treatment.
