Dr. Michael Chung

Michael Chung is a board-eligible facial plastic surgeon who practices only facial aesthetic surgery at the practice. He is completing the final board examination process with the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is known for the Deep Plane Facelift and Deep Necklift. His procedures include rhinoplasty, upper and lower blepharoplasty, brow lift, lip lift, facial fat transfer, facial resurfacing, submental liposuction and otoplasty. He has admitting privileges at Texas Health Resources Frisco and Medical City McKinney. He earned dual degrees in biology and business from the University of Texas at Austin, then completed medical school, advanced surgical training and his plastic surgery residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where he was Administrative Chief Resident. He performed over 2,000 surgical procedures during residency. He has pursued additional national training in facial aging surgery and modern rejuvenation techniques and has authored peer-reviewed publications and book chapters on aesthetic surgery. He received the Excellence in Teaching Award at UT Southwestern and the Best Paper Award from Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Global Open in 2017.
