About
Dr. Melvin Ashford leads Minnesota Women's Care as its founder and chief executive, and serves as medical director of Rejuvenation MedSpa. In the Twin Cities he works in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. He is among the early physicians in the country to earn board certification in urogynecology. Alongside pelvic medicine, he works in cosmetic gynecology. His training in that area took him to Italy, Austria, London, Scotland and the United States, where he learned from specialists in cosmetic gynecology and aesthetic medicine. His approach begins with careful listening to patients. Through that, concerns such as enlarged labia, pain during intercourse and vulvar darkening have come to light.
