Dr. Melissa McRae

Dr. Melissa McRae is a board certified family physician and the founder and CEO of Vitality Natural Wellness. She sees patients at both the Mansfield and Powell offices. After 12 years in traditional family medicine, she opened a wellness-based practice in Mansfield. Her work centers on perimenopause, menopause and low testosterone, treating these with bioidentical hormones alongside gut therapy, diet and lifestyle changes, and advanced testing.

She graduated summa cum laude from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and received the Dean's Award at graduation. She has also completed coursework at the American Academy of Anti Aging Medicine and the Institute for Functional Medicine. She served as Chief Resident at Doctors Hospital in Stark County, Ohio. Her residency program named her its Most Outstanding Family Practice Doctor, and the Ohio Academy of Family Medicine recognized her as its Most Outstanding Family Practice Resident.

She speaks locally and nationally on lifestyle medicine and wellness. She has presented at the American College of Lifestyle Medicine national conference, including a featured talk in Washington, D.C., on a way to cover medical wellness and nutrition through insurance. She teaches family medicine students, nurse practitioner students, nursing students and medical residents at her office. She is also the author of the book Unlocked, which is sold in the office and online.
