About
Dr. Meena Malhotra, M.D., heads the Women's Health program at AVU Collective in South Barrington, Illinois, where she also conducts the physician consultation. Her board certifications are in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine, and she is a diplomate of both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Her medical degree comes from GSVM Medical College, University of Kanpur. She did her internship and internal medicine residency at Saint Joseph Hospital, which is affiliated with Northwestern University. She has held admitting privileges at north-suburban Chicago hospitals, with affiliations at Skokie, Glenbrook, Advocate Lutheran General, Highland Park, Evanston and Northwest Community Hospital. Her memberships include the American College of Physicians and the Obesity Medicine Association. She collaborated with Peter Diamandis at the 2022 A4M conference on community longevity. Her clinical focus is hormone and metabolic mapping, which sets symptoms beside timed labs, along with root-cause protocols that weigh lifestyle, environment and emotional load together with genetics. The 30-minute Women's Health consultation at the South Barrington location is offered at no charge and covers concerns, history and prior labs. It may lead to recommended labs, follow-up care, treatment options or a referral.
