Dr. Matthew Livingood

Dr. Matthew Livingood co-owns Arlington Dermatology and is a board-certified dermatologist, certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He holds Fellow status with the American Academy of Dermatology and belongs to the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the Washington D.C. Dermatological Society. He studied at Duke University, then attended The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences, where he finished in the top 5% of his class and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He received awards as the top dermatology student and the top internal medicine student in his graduating class. His internal medicine internship was at Vanderbilt University, and his dermatology residency was also at Vanderbilt, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year. He has published several articles in peer-reviewed dermatology journals, has presented locally and nationally, and helps teach dermatology residents in the Georgetown University Division of Dermatology Program.
