Dr. Marotta

Dr. Marotta is a facial plastic surgeon and the CEO and medical director of Marotta Plastic Surgery Specialists in Smithtown, New York, on Long Island, where he heads the surgical and skin treatment teams. He also holds a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery appointment at SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine and has hospital privileges at St. Catherine of Siena in Smithtown. He has about 20 years in practice. His training began at Columbia University, and he went on to earn a medical doctorate with distinction in research and a degree from SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine. He trained in head and neck surgery at Yale University and completed a fellowship in facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He is dual board certified and a fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. His focus includes minimally invasive endoscopic facial plastic surgery, surgical and non-surgical facial rejuvenation, and rhinoplasty, where advanced computer modeling allows patients to preview their likely results. He performs deep plane and drainless facelifts, and he does hair transplantation at Marotta Hair Restoration, using NeoGraft and follicular unit transplantation to place one follicle at a time. He is an Allergan Medical Institute trainer who teaches injection technique and patient safety to other medical professionals. He oversees the Marotta MedSpa on site and personally trains its providers. The practice calls him an award-winning surgeon and published author and a top Long Island plastic surgeon. It says he has been recognized as Best Cosmetic Surgeon on Long Island since 2012, and the MedSpa site says he was voted best cosmetic surgeon.
