Dr. Marcus Yarbrough

Dr. Marcus Yarbrough founded Alpha Wound Care Solutions and Wellness and serves there as provider, CEO and Medical Director. He holds an MD and the CWSP credential, and his focus is chronic, complex wounds and burns.

His medical education began at Ross University School of Medicine. He then completed a residency in general surgery at Howard University, followed by a burn and critical care fellowship in Philadelphia and a burn and wound care fellowship at Crozer Regional Burn Center. He is board-certified in wound care and in hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

Beyond the clinic, he speaks frequently at national conferences on wound and burn care, has authored several research articles, and works as a speaker and consultant for Convatec, Kerecis and Polymedics Innovations. He holds memberships in several professional bodies, including the American College of Surgeons, where he is a Fellow. He hopes the practice grows into a hub for educating providers in advanced wound and burn care, and he wants to raise awareness of patient advocacy for people living with challenging wounds and burns.
