Dr. Marco Barusco

Dr. Marco Barusco founded Tempus Hair Restoration, where he serves as Chief Medical Officer and performs its procedures himself. He is a board certified medical hair restoration surgeon (MHR) and a diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery, and his credentials include an MD and FISHRS. For 12 years he worked as a hair transplant surgeon and trainer at Medical Hair Restoration, where he took part in its accredited post graduate fellowship that trained doctors in hair transplantation. He has more than two decades in hair restoration and has also served in leadership roles with the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery and other professional groups. His academic and public work includes an assistant professorship of surgery at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and a role as a Global Clinical Scholars Researcher at Harvard Medical School. He is on the Board of Trustees of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, is a fellow of that academy and of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, and sits on several ISHRS committees. He has written hair restoration textbooks and gives keynote talks at industry events. He received a 2017 Lifetime Achievement Award and was named among America's Most Honored Professionals in 2018, and the practice calls him award-winning. He is Florida's only doctor in HairClone research and has helped national and international celebrities with hair loss. His practice covers hair transplants for men and women, hair loss treatment, and facial hair transplants. He performs eyebrow transplants. Reconstructive hair restoration for hair loss caused by burns, cancer treatment, radiation therapy and accidents is part of his work, as is camouflaging facial scars with hair transplant techniques. He treats women with hair loss and developed the No-Shave FUE technique. The practice describes him as one of only a few doctors worldwide with the experience to perform Long-Hair FUE.
