Dr. Manuel Peña

Dr. Manuel Peña is a physician specialist in aesthetic medicine who works at Alquimia Med Spa, and he is credited with developing the practice's underlying concept. He holds international certification in aesthetic medicine from the Union Internationale de Médecine Esthétique in France, and he holds MD and MPH credentials.

He trained in pediatrics and adolescent medicine and is a board certified specialist in that field, with more than 15 years of experience. He completed his residency at Children's Hospital Oakland. His education also includes study at the UCLA School of Medicine and at the UC Berkeley School of Public Health, as well as post-graduate training in medical aesthetics through the American Academy of Dermatology.

His aesthetic practice focuses on non-surgical cosmetic procedures and laser treatments, drawing on techniques from North America, Latin America and Europe. He sees adult clients for aesthetic treatments and stays current with developments in aesthetics and medicine. His memberships include the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, the American College of Phlebology, the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
