Dr. Maida Parkins

Dr. Maida Parkins is the owner and founder of Parkins Plastic Surgery in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, where she works as the practice's plastic surgeon. She began practicing as a plastic and reconstructive surgeon in October 2011 and has more than a decade of experience caring for patients. Earlier roles included plastic and reconstructive surgery at Watertown Regional Medical Center, part of UW Health Partners, and private practice in Delafield, Wisconsin. She has led her own practice since March 2019.

She earned an M.D. with honors from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria in 2005 and then completed an integrated residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Medical College of Wisconsin affiliated hospitals in Milwaukee, finishing in 2011. Before medicine she earned a B.S. and an M.S. in biomedical engineering from Case Western Reserve University. She is board certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and holds a State of Wisconsin license to practice medicine and surgery. In 2009 she received a research award from the Medical College of Wisconsin for a study on peripheral nerve repair.

Her rejuvenating procedures include eyelid surgery, neck liposuction and ear reshaping, and her body contouring work includes tummy tucks, liposuction and mommy makeovers. For facial treatments she aims to refresh a patient's appearance while keeping the features that make them who they are. During consultations, she and her team lay out a surgical plan and may suggest lower-cost alternatives to more extensive procedures. She is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, the Wisconsin Society of Plastic Surgeons and Women Plastic Surgeons. She was listed in Milwaukee Top Docs for plastic surgery in 2018, 2020, 2022 and 2023, and among Aesthetic Everything's top plastic surgeons for Middle America in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
