Dr. Mahsa Karavan

Dr. Karavan is the founder and medical director of EverOak Dermatology and Aesthetics Center, and she opened the practice as an independent, physician-owned dermatology practice in Celina, Texas. She holds an MD and an MPH, trained at the University of Washington and completed her dermatology residency at the University of Utah. She is a board-certified dermatologist with more than a decade of training and clinical experience, and she practices medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Her focus areas include skin cancer prevention and early detection, hair loss management, and natural approaches to anti-aging. She also treats conditions such as acne, rosacea, psoriasis and eczema. In cosmetic work she combines injectables, lasers and regenerative therapies. She is a published researcher whose studies cover acne scarring, chronic wound care, teledermatology, injectable therapies including Kybella, melanoma diagnosis and complex wound outcomes. She received the 2025 Texas Rising Star Super Doctor Award. She was featured as the dermatology expert in the June issue of Living Magazine, where she discussed sun damage, what makes a mole concerning and why hair loss deserves a dermatological evaluation. She is also regularly invited to share her dermatology expertise with regional publications.
