Dr. Madeline Krauss

Dr. Madeline Krauss, who holds an M.D., founded Krauss Dermatology in 2005 at its Wellesley office, where she practices aesthetic dermatology. Before starting the practice she served as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Tufts University and ran the Center for Cosmetic Skin Surgery at New England Medical Center. She holds affiliate staff status at Newton Wellesley Hospital and belongs to the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, the Massachusetts Academy of Dermatology and the Massachusetts Medical Society.

She earned an undergraduate degree at Harvard College and an M.D. at Columbia University, where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha. Her postgraduate training included a general surgery internship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, a dermatology residency in the combined Tufts and Boston University program, and a cosmetic dermatology fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School.

Her focus is injectable fillers, neuromodulators such as Botox, and laser treatments. She lectures on laser techniques and teaches other physicians how to perform botulinum toxin and filler procedures. Boston Magazine has included her among Boston's Top Doctors every year from 2018 through 2025, and Newsweek named her one of the Top 50 Cosmetic Dermatologists in the United States in 2022 and 2023. According to the practice, the Improper Bostonian chose her as the area's top non-surgical cosmetic improvement provider.
