About
Dr. Lockstar is the owner and a dreadlock extensions specialist, and founded the business. He started creating dreadlocks in 2007 with a first set in his own hair, and has spent almost 19 years creating, maintaining and repairing them. After returning to Raleigh in 2015 he switched to crochet and began taking paying clients.
His work centers on the Noble Hook crochet method, and he specializes in dreadlock extensions. He is also a featured founder of Kingdom Academy.
He sees every client as family, guided by honesty, respect and attention to the look the client wants.
