Dr. Lisa Chipps

Dr. Lisa Chipps, MD, MS, is a board-certified dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon at the Beverly Hills, Torrance and Encino locations of Moy Fincher Chipps Facial Plastics & Dermatology. She joined the practice when it was based at UCLA, before it relocated to Beverly Hills. She has served as president of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and as president of the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery. She holds memberships in the AAD, ASLMS, ASDS and the American College of Mohs Surgery. Her practice spans Mohs micrographic skin cancer surgery, facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, laser skin treatments, liposuction, and general and cosmetic dermatology, for patients ranging from children to older adults. Skin cancer education and prevention is a particular interest. She has published studies in journals, presents dermatology research at scientific meetings, and the practice says she has received awards for her skin cancer research. She offers free skin cancer screenings through several dermatology organizations. Her internship was at the UCLA-West Los Angeles Veterans Affairs Hospital, followed by dermatology residency in Denver and Torrance. She then spent two years in a fellowship with founder Dr. Ronald Moy at UCLA.
