Dr. Lisa A. Zdinak

Dr. Lisa A. Zdinak founded Precision Aesthetics MD and works as an aesthetic surgeon. She has more than 17 years of practice behind her. Her clinical work centers on non-invasive facial rejuvenation, skin tightening, body contouring, laser treatments and collagen-based anti-aging care. Her expertise includes EMFACE, Thermage and laser skin resurfacing, and she is one of the region's most talented facial rejuvenation specialists. Zdinak earned a Doctor of Medicine at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago. Before that, she received a BS in molecular biology from the University of Pittsburgh, where she was an undergraduate research fellow at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. During medical school she assisted head and neck surgeons, and her research spanned otolaryngology, pediatric surgery and ophthalmology. Her postgraduate training began with a transitional year at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, followed by an ophthalmology residency at the Georgetown-Washington National Eye Center in Washington, D.C. She completed a private fellowship in oculofacial cosmetic surgery in New York under Stephen L. Bosniak, M.D. Thermage has been part of her practice since the device launched, and she has performed thousands of procedures with it. She designed her own Thermage body protocols, combining tip choice with pulse count. She was the first physician in New York City to obtain both the original Thermage cellulite tip and the Thermage NXT device. She trains physicians on Thermage in the United States and internationally, speaks at aesthetic medicine meetings abroad, and was the featured provider on a facial tip bus tour. She has performed more than 20,000 successful treatments and holds a 5/5 patient rating, and she treats an international clientele. She belongs to the American Society of Lasers in Medicine and Surgery and has published in medical journals on combination therapies and hyaluronic acid fillers.
